Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki pay tribute to Maison Kitsuné’s Japanese heritage with their Fall/Winter 2016 women’s collection. The collection is delicate and feminine as well as bold. It’s inspired by Hayao Miyazaki’s animated film The Wind Rises. Using refined fabrics like silk, lurex jacquard, and velvet with embroidered and textured embellishments, Maison Kitsuné recreates Miyazaki’s dreamscape.
