Musician and activist M.I.A. has teamed up with Danish fashion designer Astrid Andersen to create a collection of music merch for her upcoming AIM World Tour.
The collection includes anoraks, track pants, and tees ranging in price from $70-$160. Many of the pieces were created with sustainability in mind. The anoraks, for example, are made from 100% recycled plastic. In terms of aesthetics, the pieces merge Andersen’s artistic vision with the AIM Tour colours and artwork.
Speaking to Vogue about the collaboration, M.I.A. said:
“I chose to work with Astrid because she is an independent who combines function, sport, simplicity, and futurism, it all very much suits my personal style because it’s utilitarian—you can wear it to a club because everything is light.”
