For the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2027 show, Dame Pat McGrath created a beauty look that balanced Parisian refinement with the raw energy of 1970s downtown New York.
Alongside creative director Nicolas Ghesquière, McGrath translated the collection’s dialogue between Paris and New York into makeup that felt naturally elegant with an intentionally undone edge.
The focus remained on softly sculpted eyes using LV Ombres 150 Beige Memento and LV Ombres 896 Monogram Rouge, while lips were kept blurred and instinctive in stained nude, berry, and deep red tones with LV Baume 010 Nude Poetry and the upcoming LV Crayon 896 Monogram Rouge.
The result was a polished yet lived in beauty look that mirrored the collection’s play on contrasts, uptown and downtown, sophistication and spontaneity, past and present.
