Louis Vuitton has opened the doors to its newest Canadian location at Vancouver’s Oakridge Park, marking the House’s 11th store in the country and further expanding its presence in Western Canada.
Wrapped in a stone façade punctuated by a large floral motif, the new boutique reflects both Louis Vuitton’s architectural language and the contemporary design of the surrounding development. Inside, the space is divided between the House’s women’s universe by Women’s Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière and its men’s offering by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams, with dedicated areas for leather goods, ready-to-wear, shoes, watches, costume and fine jewelry, and travel pieces.
The store also features a curated selection of artworks and locally sourced furnishings, including newly commissioned pieces by Vancouver-based designer Jay Miron and design studio Origins. Throughout the space, Louis Vuitton blends global luxury with local creative influences, creating a distinctly west coast expression of the brand’s retail concept.
