Louis Vuitton is bringing back one of its most recognizable watches with the debut of two new Monterey Ceramic models, unveiled during the Men’s Spring Summer 2027 fashion show. Rather than appearing on wrists, the new watches were introduced as charm tags that complemented two key looks from the collection.

The launch follows the 2025 reissue of the Louis Vuitton Monterey in yellow gold, which revisited the House’s first wristwatch, the LV I, with a Grand Feu enamel dial and an in-house automatic movement.

Now, the Monterey returns in ceramic with two distinct finishes. One arrives in a bold green, while the other features a glossy black finish. Both reinterpret the spirit of the Monterey, a watch affectionately nicknamed by collectors after the 1988 LV II model, created in collaboration with designer Gae Aulenti.

Designed and crafted by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, the new ceramic models pair the collection’s signature pebble-shaped case with the in-house LFTMA01.02 automatic movement. Graphic detailing and ceramic construction give the classic design a contemporary update while staying true to the original’s distinctive character.

The Louis Vuitton Monterey Ceramic collection will be available beginning September 26.
