Lorde’s stunning new visual for “Perfect Places,” the closing anthem on her second studio album Melodrama, is here.
In the scenic Grant Singer-directed video, the New Zealand singer explores an abandoned island solo from its beautiful mountains and lagoons to a lush rainforest and a beach. She dances alone in front of a roaring fire and dines by herself at a dinner table set for four.
Lorde tweeted a link to the video with the caption: “a drink, a drumbeat, a paradise, a prison.. a far-off island of the mind… let’s go to PERFECT PLACES.”
