Did you know Lollapalooza means “one that is extraordinarily impressive?” Thanks to Friday’s Sylvan Esso after party we were experiencing a Lollapalooza of a headache on day three ?. But that didn’t stop us from making our way nice and early to Grant Park, albeit at a slower pace.

We dove straight into the action with Alison Wonderland at the Perry Stage, were her “Fuck Me Up On A Spiritual Level” merch could be spotted heavily across the crowd. Easing back into things afterwards with Alt J felt a little more appropriate. We were a bit bummed that their set wasn’t later in the day, as the production experience looked impressive but didn’t translate during the day.

21 Savages delivered Atlanta hip hop in a big way, seeing even Chance side stage enjoying the performance (no pictures allowed though, wah wah).

We then danced for the second time in 24 hours with the always amazing Sylvan Esso. Fact, we will never get sick of Amelia Meath’s dance moves or her stunning vocals.

Jamie xx, Romy Madley Croftand, and Oliver Sim, aka The xx, helped us wrap up our day three at the Bud Light Stage, running through material from their discography with an emphasis on 2017’s I See You, and even a couple from Jamie XX’s smash record In Colours. Dance party.
