English 2-Tone Ska legends The Specials brought their ongoing reunion tour to Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall. While the group has been touring actively since 2008, this is only the second time they’ve come back to Toronto, drawing a sold-out crowd eager to see them in person. Opening with “Ghost Town” the band drew their lengthy setlist from throughout their career. While singer Terry Hall was fairly withdraw, the energy on stage was bolstered by a strong performance from guitarist Lynval Golding. While any Specials show without founding member Jerry Dammers is going to be missing something, the band still managed to deliver a fantastic set.
