Last night SZA brought her sold out ‘Ctrl’ tour to Toronto. One of her first Canadian dates (following Montreal the night before) at Rebel, an upgraded venue from the original Phoenix Concert Theatre, basically doubling the size due to demand. She took the stage flanked with giant CTRL glittered letters in adidas tearaway pants and CDG Chucks, commanding the crowd as attendees sang along to her new album in full force.

While rumours were flying in the city that Kendrick Lamar would make an appearance, as his second sold out show of the summer happening just down the street at Air Canada Centre (which logistically obviously did not end up happening), SZA showed once again she can hold her own.

She even treated fans to a little cover of Cardi B’s ever-hype “Bodak Yellow” while Drake stood side stage watching singing along.
