Last week we were in Montreal on Etsy’s road trip and now we’re back in Toronto for the vintage airstream’s second last stop on the #EtsyRoadTrip. Parked just south of king street, the airstream played host to a slew of cool sellers repping handmade goods including nail charms and polishes by Nail Kandy, bow ties by Handsome & Lace, bags by Grace Design, and floral crowns and tulle dresses by Jordan de Ruiter.
We grabbed a quick beaver tail and a few meat balls from the food trucks, after deciding on a Ninja Turtle bow tie, and waited patiently for the great Edmonton psych rocker Michael Rault to take the stage. A small crowd of curious people had gathered to hear him play a handful of songs as the sun set over the Brant street parking lot. Highlights of his short set of vintage tunes included “Fall In Love With Every Girl I See” and “Too Bad So Sad,” as well as few jam sessions in between tracks.
