Live Music: Lana Del Rey in Toronto

Wheather you’ve given into the ravenous hype of Lana Del Rey or not, after seeing her perform live, no one could argue against this girls serious pipes.

Doing a mini warm up about three tracks into her forty-five-minute long set to make sure her voice was sounding so fresh to death, Lana brought her all to Toronto, with just a hint of humbling nervousness. Sporting some skin-tight blue jeans and metallic lamé zip-up vest, Lana seemed to fit well into her new-found persona and everything from the stage set up with old movies projected onto over-sized white balloons, to her equally talented band, complimented her energy. Hard hitting tracks of the evening were obviously the beautiful, yet played out “Video Games”, “Blue Jeans”, and newish “Born 2 Die”, to which she expressed how much she “fucking love[s] that song”, all off the upcoming album Born 2 Die.

Check out our photos and the set list below and stay tuned for our live videos of the show in the next few days.
