Australian folk troubadour Henry Wagons brought his energetic live show to Toronto’s Dakota Tavern on Thursday night. Touring in support of his new record “After What I did Last Night…” they played two sets, covering most of the new record, as well as the favourites from his other project, Wagons. While the crowd was small, Wagons didn’t even seem bothered by it, playing games with them to find out who the favourite band members was, and eventually ending up in the crowd or on the dance floor. Closing both sets with Wagons hit ‘Willie Nelson’ he always managed to get the crowd up and dancing for it, hopefully, when he comes back, Toronto audiences have gotten wise to the fantastic show that they’re missing.
