Last night in Toronto, two of our favourtie local acts tore up the Horseshoe Tavern stage. The acts in question? HSY (who recently melted our mind on Halloween) & new punk kids on the A&C block, Frigs.

Sludge punk bad-asses HSY warmed us up and drove us to midnight with their thick, emotional, punches you in the gut, unique sound of noisy guitars and punchy percussion.

Psychedelic post-punks Frigs took us as the clock struck midnight and front grunge witch Bria cast her spell of bellowing vocals that creep into your core.
The quartet closed up their set with both of the fantastic songs that make up their recent digital 7″. From “Chest” to “Trashyard” Frigs had us in chills the whole time.
