Fans packed into Toronto’s Mod Club for the only Canadian stop of Dave and AJ Tracey’s three-date North American tour.
After opening DJ sets from Freeza Chin and JAYEMKAYEM, the two UK grime artists took the stage and immediately turned the place into a function. What ensued was a truly proper link-up of two forward-thinking artists who operate in two separate lanes within the genre. Although the 6 God didn’t make an appearance for “Wanna Know,” Dave and Tracey closed out the performance with two rounds of their collaborative single “Thiago Silva.”
