I’m pleased to present this lovely short film from photographer Lisa Eisner for eyewear company Oliver Peoples. The film features folk musician Devandra Banhart and his girlfriend Rebecca Schwartz in this homage to French New Wave classics like Godard’s Une Femme Mariée. Naturally the real-life couple had a chemistry that was intimate and sexy, making the film both light-hearted and beautiful. The film was shot in architect John Lautner‘s 1961 Los Angeles Rainbow House, to the sounds of Banhart’s “Brindo“ from the 2009 What Will We Be album. The Short film features the really excellent collection of eyewear from Oliver People’s latest collection.
