Lil Wayne has shared four new songs, including his take on Playboi Carti’s “Magnolia” which was previewed earlier today.
The tracks are all included in the Hollygrove rapper’s In Tune We Trust EP, and includes production credits from ChefBoy, R!O, Kamo and Kaliphat. Young Jeezy also has a verse on the track “Fireworks,” produced by Mike WiLL Made-It. In an Instagram caption accompanying the tracklist, Weezy writes:
I’m STILL trying to fight for my Independence but today I’m saying F*k[sic] it and giving all my fans some new music! Thanks for being there and patiently waiting while I endure this fight.
The statement directly addresses his ongoing contract dispute with Cash Money Records, which prohibits the release of his highly anticipated much delayed Tha Carter V. Enjoy the four new songs from Lil Wayne below.
