While fans eagerly await the drop of Kendrick Lamar’s highly anticipated fourth studio album, DAMN., set to drop this Friday, the king of rap has decided to gift the king of basketball, LeBron James, with an advanced copy of the release.
The contending MVP and reigning NBA Champion has now decided to give the world a sneak peek of the album through his Instagram Stories. The Akron born-and-bred superstar can be seen rapping along to certain verses, ostensibly suggesting he may have received DAMN. a while ago. Sonically, the album seems to be a lot heavier than Lamar’s previous album, To Pimp a Butterfly, which must help the LeBron get into the playoff mind frame.
