Lady Gaga is making some serious rounds with the media this week promoting her new album Joanne. The pop icon has time again proven she’s got the vocal talent to back her eccentric stage presence, and what better way to show off than during Carpool Karaoke on The Late Late Show with James Corden? Gaga hits the streets of LA in Corden’s Range Rover to belt out a couple tracks from Joanne and her biggest hits, including “Perfect Illusion”, “Edge of Glory”, “Bad Romance”, “Poker Face”, and the striking ballad “Million Reasons.” Between the karaoke, the two talk her upcoming gig at the Superbowl next year, her extensive Michael Jackson clothing collection that’s stored in a temperature controlled room, Gaga getting her driver’s license at 30 years old, and her songwriting process. In typical Corden fashion, never short for laughs, he rounds up the clip dressing up in a few of Gaga’s most memorable red carpet and awards show looks.
Gaga joined the rest of Corden’s show last night for his opening monologue, then set up shop for the rest of the episode with Reggie Watts’ house band to perform her new single “A-Yo.”
