New York design label Opening Ceremony and vintage French brand Lacoste have joined forces to create a capsule collection that is decidedly a modern departure from the classic silhouettes. Launching today, the Opening Ceremony x Lacoste capsule features gender neutral shirts and dresses, with simplicity as it’s basis. Large stripes and color blocking are common elements within the pieces, as well as very straight lines and simple, clean shapes. The classic Lacoste polo has been revisited with a vintage styled zipper with a circular pull tab. Baseball inspired tees and tennis inspired zip-up mock neck shirts also make an appearance.
