Though no actual collection lookbook has circulated yet, a little ad in this months Paper Mag issue guest-edited by Shepard Fairey certainly got our wheels turning about Catherine Malandrino‘s collaboration with Lacoste set to drop in March 2011.
We saw the below inspirational storyboards on her blog a while back and thought it quite beautiful to add a bit of poetic elegance to an otherwise straight-forward sportswear brand.
Here’s what Malandrino had to say about the collaboration:
Lacoste has been in my life since my childhood and I’m so excited to be working with them on a capsule collection due next Spring.  I’m looking forward to getting into this world of activewear… while at the same time bringing emotion, desire, seduction, and overall femininity to an esteemed classic.
