Pelagia Kolotouros blurred the lines between sport and sensuality in her third collection for Lacoste inside the majestic sun drenched vaulted Hall Eiffel at Lycée Carnot. Creating a vast white and green locker room… a steamy, voyeuristic arena of glass, tiles, shower curtains, and stacks of towels for seats, where the athletic rituals became runway theatre.
Guests were primed for Kolotouros’ vision, receiving a vacuum-sealed invite, inside a silver box housed a single bar of Lacoste-branded soap; a subtle nod of what was to come. In her strongest collection for the brand, Kolotouros explored vibrant after-match moments, the breath between exertion and ease, sweat and serenity.
A star-studded guest list confirmed the brands unwavering relevance with the likes of Venus Williams, Michelle Williams, Adrien Brody, Anna Wintour, Carine Roitfeld, Mel Ottenberg, K-pop star Kai of EXO, and many others sitting front row.
The Spring/Summer lineup reinterpreted the house’s athletic DNA with sheer polos half-unbuttoned, swishy robe-like trench coats with emblazoned “Tennis for Everyone,” and transparent nylon layers that moved as the models descended down the stairs from both sides and onto the runway.
Textures spoke: towelling fabrics turned evening-ready, shiny leathers reflected motion, and rubberized cottons added utilitarian tension. Kolotouros’ silhouettes breathed with ease: oversized polos paired with fluid trousers, transparent organza catching the light. Having introduced tailoring in her debut, she found structure in softness redefining precision through vulnerability.
Zip pouch necklaces and luggage tags engraved “For Tennis Use Only” extended the locker-room metaphor, and the beloved Lenglen bag returned in luxe textured crocodile leather, colour blocked pleats, and racket-grip handles.
Kolotouros’ Spring/Summer 2026 collection was more than a homage to Lacoste’s sporting heritage, it was a meditation on movement, intimacy, and the moments that exist beyond the spotlight. In her hands, the locker room became a stage where athletic discipline meets sensuality, and sporty chic style reigns supreme.
