Inspired by René Lacoste’s journey from tennis champion in the 1930s to successful entrepreneur and socialite. The runway transformed the clay court into an intimate space, reflecting Lacoste’s sophisticated lifestyle as he transitioned from the world of sports to mingling with his era’s actors, industrialists, and fashion icons.
Kolotouros presented a mix of sportswear and contemporary styles, with clean and graphic silhouettes that moved effortlessly from athletic to social settings. Key pieces included bias-cut tops, pleated skirts, and felted double-breasted blazers in vibrant pink. Scarf dresses were paired with slouchy tech pants and oversized puffers, creating a perfect balance between structure and ease.
The colour palette reflected Lacoste’s signature hues, blending timeless neutrals like white, cream, black-green, and camel with pops of vibrant pink for a modern touch. The collection also reimagined the brand’s classic elements, adding jewelled patches inspired by vintage tournament medallions from René Lacoste’s archives, with motifs such as tennis racquets and the Davis Cup.
The show drew an impressive crowd, including tennis legend Venus Williams, actor Adrien Brody, and musician Sampha. The atmosphere was enhanced by a captivating soundtrack featuring John Glacier and Sampha’s 2025 single “Ocean Steppin’,” which set the perfect tone for the collection’s nostalgic yet forward-looking vibe.
Lacoste’s FW25 collection beautifully honoured the brand’s legacy while embracing contemporary design. By blending tradition with innovation, Pelagia Kolotouros delivered a collection that resonated with both long-time fans and modern fashion enthusiasts.
