Kodak Black is celebrating his newly-freed status by dropping a fresh track, appropriately titled “First Day Out,” along with a video.

True to its name, the Dyryk-produced song was composed a day after his June 5 release, as the rapper showed on his social media accounts. Its narrative is as you’d expect from the Florida artist, which talks about his unwillingness to change despite his repeated incarcerations. Having just turned 20 last week, hopefully this mentality will not be problematic for Kodak in the future.

Enjoy the new song and video above.
