Kim Jones, the celebrated British-born Australian digital creative and fashion designer, has debuted a ready-to-wear collection for FENDI. As part of this launch, FENDI is introducing FENDI First, an exciting new chapter in accessories that speaks to both the past and future of the fashion house.
An inverted FENDI “F” in an architectural mule will be the first heel (reimagined from a heel first presented in 2000), and will be realized in a range of fabrics from glossy leather to clouds of fluffy shearling and rose-tinted mink, all with this iconic golden metallic heel.
A FENDI First bag will tilt the brand’s house monogram into the frame of a soft clutch. This too, will appear in various forms – soft nappa leather, python, fur, shearling and Karligraphy-monogrammed flannel, in two different sizes (medium, for fitting everyday essentials, and small). These must-have accessories reflect Jones’ vision for FENDI: contemporary but honouring its rich history.
