Showtime has green-lit the development of The Studio, a music-themed office comedy executive produced by T.I. and Kevin Hart.
Both executive producers are also expected to make cameo appearances on the Lionsgate televison show. Known for her work on Everybody Hates Chris, Aeysha Carr will write the script for the series, which will be a dramatization of the daily occurrences inside a recording studio. Peculiar work hours, an unusual workplace and eccentric characters will all be leveraged to romanticize a music industry job in The Studio.
