Hip Hop magazine and industry insider The Source has named Kendrick Lamar as the Rookie Of The Year in their December 2012/January 2013 issue. It’s not really surprising since his good kid, m.A.A.d city took the world by storm and he won Lyricist Of The Year at the 2012 BET Awards over Jay-Z, Kanye West, Nas and J.Cole.
