It’s hardly been a minute since Katy Perry served up “Bon Apetit,” and with that dish gone cold, she’s served a heaping helping of “Swish Swish.” Featuring a solid verse from Nicki Minaj, “Swish Swish” marks Katy’s third single off her forthcoming album Witness, and it’s an absolutely blazing club-stomping diss track.

The Duke Dumont produced track is riddled with quotable lyrics threaded between a rolling NBA metaphor, sparred with lines like “you’re about as cute as an old coupon, expired,” “your game is tired, you should retire,” and “karma’s not a liar, she keeps receipts.”

The star of the track is the simple chorus, “Swish swish, bish. Another one in the basket!,” dribbled over a refined house instrumental. We can’t believe a Duke Dumont and Katy Perry union hasn’t happened sooner, but better late than never.
