Cult eyewear designer Karen Walker has teamed up with New Zealand-born musician Connan Mockasin to launch her first ever men’s eyewear collection entitled Monumental.
The collection is bold and geometric with thick rims and strong colors. For Walker, Mockasin was the ideal spokesperson for the new line.
Speaking to Vogue, she said of the musician:
“What I like about Connan’s style—his music, his ideas, his concepts, his own look—is that he doesn’t just run with the pack and run with the trends. He’s a modern icon, and he’s actually better than an icon.”
