After an unexpected leak earlier this week, Jordan Brand and Converse have officially released news of their first ever collaboration. In celebration of Michael Jordan’s ‘Love of the Game’ the brands have come together for a special two-pack release paying homage to Jordan’s earlier career before he went pro. The collection includes the Converse Fast Break and Air Jordan II both of which Jordan wore in his early career.

The Air Jordan II features a custom heel detail honouring the famous UNC alumni games in 1986 and 1987, in which he wore a II Chicago’s hometown colourway with an all new Caroline Blue heel and a low version of the II featuring his alma mater’s team colours. The Fast Break, Jordan’s favourite Converse silhouette, is of course inspired by his memorable performances at the University of North Carolina and the 1984 Olympics.

Set to launch on June 28th at select retailers in Canada including Livestock, Capsule, House of Hoops, Footaction and of course Toronto’s all new Air Jordan Store, the collection
