Jordan Brand has introduced a brand new silhouette that builds on the legacy of the ever-popular Jordan IV.
The new Jordan Fly ’89 lightweight silhouette takes elements of Michael Jordan’s most famous shoe, including the distinct wing lacing details and heel tab, and merges them with a sock-like construction and Lunarlon sole. The result is a shoe that represents both the cutting edge style that has made the Jordan IV an icon in its own right with the comfort and innovation that allows Jordan Brand to stay at the top of the sneaker game. The Fly ’89 name refers to the year the original Jordan IV was released.
These are due to drop on May 26 on Jordan.com and at select retail stores. No word yet on whether these will be on sale at the brand new Toronto Jordan store, but here’s to hoping.
