Russell Westbrook was the centre of attention at last night’s inaugural NBA Awards after receiving the 2016-17 NBA Most Valuable Player Award. Jordan Brand is celebrating his achievement with a limited edition Air Jordan XXXI “RW.”
Westbrook, following in the footsteps of Michael Jordan, is now the second Jordan Brand athlete to receive the NBA MVP award. In commemoration of his “Why not?” mentality, Jordan has released a visual spot highlighting that the number zero on his back no longer reflects the number of MVP awards he’s received.
