Jonathan Anderson just levelled up. The JW Anderson founder and Loewe mastermind has officially taken full creative control at Dior—that’s menswear, womenswear, and couture. A first since Christian Dior himself. No co-directors. No split vision. Just pure, unfiltered Anderson.

That alone would be enough to shake the industry. But he’s not stopping there. Between Dior, his namesake label, and his ongoing collab with Uniqlo, he’s set to drop 18 collections a year. Eighteen. That’s fashion on god-mode. Something not seen since the days of Karl Lagerfeld himself.

If you’ve been following Anderson’s rise, this checks out. He’s made JW Anderson a subversive British staple, turned Loewe into a cult-art luxury juggernaut, and turned high-street collabs into must-cop moments at Uniqlo. He doesn’t just make clothes—he builds worlds, and we’re lucky to live in them.

At Dior, we can expect that same weird-beautiful tension: avant-garde silhouettes, twisted heritage, couture with bite. It’s a big swing, but Anderson’s never played it safe, and while I personally LOVE Kim Jones’ menswear vision at Dior, I am very excited to see the future of the house.

Fashion’s never moved faster. Now it’s moving on his terms.

Let the era begin. All hail the King.
