In light of the shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile by police officers in the United States earlier this week, Jay Z has dropped a new track called “Spiritual.” Accompanied by a short note from Hov himself stating that the track is actually unfinished and one he’s been holding on to for a few years.
“Punch (TDE) told me I should drop it when Mike Brown died, sadly I told him, ‘this issue will always be relevant,’”
“I’m saddened and disappointed in THIS America – we should be further along. WE ARE NOT.”
