Pound the alarm: Jay Electronica has managed to slip in a new guest verse on Emeli Sandé’s new track “Garden.” While the elusive rapper has cropped up with a guest verse here and there over the years while avoiding putting out his own project, Sandé is gearing up to drop her new album Long Live The Angels, the follow-up to her Brit Award winning 2011 debut Our Version of Events.
“Garden” is a dark, sensual R&B jam. Built on a crisp, minimal beat, Sandé’s smooth delivery seamlessly flows through each bar leading up to and out of Jay’s verse.
