Jah Jah Studio and COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT have reunited for a Spring/Summer 2026 capsule collection, blending Daquisiline Gomis’ Pan-African vision with the label’s signature avant-garde shirting. The five-shirt collection reinterprets classic CDG SHIRT silhouettes through a diasporic lens, drawing on Gomis’ West African roots and Rastafarian culture. Reds, golds, and earthy greens dominate, with standout details like a Lion of Judah embossing and speaker motifs referencing Jah Jah Studio’s Sound System.
Playful construction meets cultural codes: patchwork lettering, oversized plaid sleeves, and striped pieces with “blooming” plaid bursts add movement and dimension. The capsule balances symbolism, craft, and wearability, bringing thoughtfulness to everyday shirting.
