J.Crew is releasing three women’s t-shirts designed in collaboration with New York-based street artist Michael De Feo (aka The Flower Guy).
De Feo is known for defacing fashion advertisements and magazine covers with his colourful and distinctive flower blossoms, and for over 20 years, has been painting floral murals in the streets of New York and cities around the world.
He captured J.Crew’s attention last spring when his “fashion takeover” paintings included a J.Crew bus shelter ad. The brand has since embraced the artist, and the collaboration resulted in a rainbow of flower prints on J.Crew short-sleeve tees and a striped, long-sleeve t-shirt.
The collection will be available in J.Crew stores across Canada on January 23 and online on January 24.
