Moments ago in New York Converse introduced the all new Converse All Star Modern Collection and limited edition HTM capsule. The Converse All Star Modern acts as an introduction to the new All Star Modern silhouette, which draws on Converse’s celebrated design legacy, stretching back to 1908. The new collection features classic All Star hallmarks while reimagining them through innovative manufacturing methods and features, including Nike Hyperfuse construction, contoured Phylon outsoles that capture the essence of the legendary diamond-shaped traction, TPU-fused toecaps and a neoprene split tongue.
The HTM version is made from flexible goat leather to the upper and embellished with a debossed All-Star ankle patch and HTM logo on the heel pull tab, perfectly capturing and rounding out the new design’s clean, timeless lines. The HTM edition will drop in a black and a white colourway on Thursday, June 9, exclusively at NikeLab retail stores worldwide and NikeLab.com.
The Converse All Star Modern sneaker collection will feature 5 different colourways, Black, Action Red, Lucid Green, Soar Blue and White all of which are made from circular knit.
The Converse All Star Modern HTM will be available exclusively at NikeLab stores and NikeLab.com on June 9th, while the Converse All Star Modern Sneaker Collection will drop on June 16th at Converse retail stores and Converse.com. Forty eight pairs will also be available on the 16th in Toronto at House of Hoops on Yonge Street.
