Designer Matt Robinson of Klaxon Howl took advantage of his Canadian roots and teamed up with The Hudson’s Bay Company to create a completely unique capsule collection. After making quite a stir at LG Fashion Week here in Toronto, with Samuel L. Jackson backstage rocking one of the coats, The Hudson’s Bay Company quickly put together a lookbook to highlight that very same coat, as well as the other Klaxon Howl pieces incorporating iconic Bay blankets. The pieces featured include the Klaxon Howl Hudson’s Bay Grey 8 Point Vest, Klaxon Howl Hudson’s Bay Grey 8 Point Jacket, the Klaxon Howl Hudson’s Bay Backpack and Duffle Bag.
All the pieces shot below look to be beautifully made, but for us, the backpack is the highlight, hanging low, almost Kanye styles. Check out the photos below as well as the behind the scenes video of the shoot directed by Ron Ruiz.
