We’ve been writing about sneakers and sneaker culture since Sidewalk Hustle’s inception back in 2007 so it’s safe to say we’re pretty obsessed. As such, we’ve rounded up ten amazing gifts for that sneaker freaker on your holiday list this year.

Buscemi makes some of the most luxe sneakers out there, so obviously this list would be a miss without them. Nike blessed Toronto with our very first quick strike last week. The Air Max 1 ‘The Six’ sneakers were designed in Portland by a Canadian named Erin Cochrane and have all sorts of super cool Toronto centric details including a Northern Lights inspired sock liner, a red North compass on the back, and a retro maple leaf on the tongue. Our homies over at Reebok collaborated with Canada’s favourite sneaker shop, Livestock on an exclusive Certified Ventilator just in time for the holidays. The classic style combines two different tones of red premium suede and Nubuck with vented mesh sides, and a Livestock Hexalite logo on the back. Canada’s so hot right now.
9. Saint Laurent Black Leather Perforated SL/10 Sneakers, $835 CAD
On the ultra-luxe side of the sneaker scale we’ve chosen these absolutely classic high top Saint Laurent black leather perforated SL/10 sneakers. Made in Italy from buffed leather, these minimal kicks have a round toe, tonal laces, and the signature gold logo stamp on the tongue. While they’re on the more expensive side of the scale, they’re totally timeless, and thus would make an excellent gift for any shoe lover on your list this holiday.
