Vancouver-based Herschel Supply has become renowned for its extensive range of backpacks, duffels and luggage, and now hopes to transfer that success into the world of apparel.

The company is releasing two lines of outerwear for both men and women. The Voyager collection is the lighter of the two, and will focus on wind and water resistance and layering pieces including windbreakers. The Forecast collection will include more heavy-duty pieces.

Cofounder Jamie Cormack says that the company created the lines with travel in mind, as “travel is something that inspires” much of what Herschel Supply does.

Cormack said in a statement:

“Our new outwear collections are a natural progression of what we already do really well with our growing range of travel essentials.”

The jackets will reportedly release in July at a variety of stockists including Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, and Bloomingdale’s, and will range in price from $69 to $99.
