Minamalist fashion label Helmut Lang has just announced a new project that will see the iconic brand collaborating with 12 visual artists.

The Helmut Lang Seen By: The Artist Series, spearheaded by Helmut Lang editor-in-residence Isabella Burley, will allow 12 visual artists selected by Burley herself to create limited edition collections with the brand. The collections will include posters, T-shirts and other accessories. Additionally, 15% of the profits will go towards a charity of the artist’s choice.

The artists included are Leigh Ledare, Carolee Schneemann, Boris Mikhailov, Peter Hujar, WalterPfeiffer, Keizo Kitajima, Adrienne Salinger, Martine Syms, Mark Morrisroe, Paul Mpagi Sepuya, Andrew Miksys and Carrie Mae Weems. The collections will be released on a monthly basis.

The first artist to be featured is Swiss photographer Walter Pfeiffer, whose collection will be unveiled on October 16. The pieces will be available at Helmut Lang stores and online at HelmutLang.com.
