In case you haven’t heard, our favourite Danish design brand HAY has teamed up with Sonos for a limited edition speaker you’re going to NEED in basically every room of your home. The collection launches TODAY, just in time for the holiday shopping season, but you’re going to want to act fast as they’re sure to sell out.

Debuted earlier this year at Salone del Mobile in Milan, the limited edition collection includes five Sonos One speakers, redone in HAY’s perfectly unconventional colours: Forest Green, Pale Yellow, Soft Pink, Light Grey and Vibrant Red. Both HAY and Sonos share a mutual love for creating amazing products for modern living that are at once accessible as they are modern. Subtle updates like the shifting the branding to the back of the speaker (which was previously only available in black and white) really make it easier to seamlessly integrate amazing sound into any space without compromising on style.

“At HAY, no two products are the same. I believe each object has its own set of colors: a chair, a toothbrush, or a piece of porcelain can’t have the same colors, yet they can still complement each other. For the Sonos range, we were inspired by our daily home life. We wanted to create colors that were for everyone.” said Mette Hay, Co-founder HAY.

HAY also announced last week they’ll finally be launching in the US, which is very good news for those of us who have been swooning just walking into a HAY store everywhere but here. YAY.

To properly ring in the launch of the collection Sonos teamed up with London-based radio station NTS for a ten-hour takeover of bespoke synaesthetic mixes based around the HAY colours in the collection. The Sound of Colour takeover will include a plant-based mix by Erykah Badu, a pink edition from fellow Canuck Mac Demarco, Ariel Pink with rose-tinted hits from ’80s Japan, and finally Stephen O’ Malley with a soundscape for all things colorless and gray. Cool. Tune in at 11am EST to listen on the Sonos app and over on NTS Live.

The collection retails for $279 CAD and will finally be available today at 9am EST online at sonos.com, as well as at flagship stores in NYC and Berlin, plus HAY House in Copenhagen and select cultural retailers worldwide.
