Toronto’s Hand Drawn Dracula is know for having its finger on the pulse of what’s to come for Toronto’s music scene. It is only fitting then that HDD’s 2013 NXNE showcase will be headlined by Tangiers, reuniting 10 years after releasing their debut record “Hot New Spirits”.
Tangiers totally shook up the music landscape with their raucous live shows and hysteric energy, defining a movement that was on the brink of exploding in Toronto. Tangiers left an indelible mark, garnering international attention and acclaim, even though the band’s original lineup was active for under a year.
