Halsey has released her brand new sophomore album hopeless fountain kingdom, a follow-up to her 2015 debut Badlands.
For this album, Halsey drew heavy inspiration from Shakespeare’s revered play Romeo and Juliet, and payed tribute to it with the interpolated intro on “The Prologue.” The album is meant to tell a chronological story ordered from beginning to end. Lido and Cashmere Cat made significant contributions to the production of this album.
