H20+ Sea Salt & Sea Lotus Skin Products

H20+ Sea Salt & Sea Lotus
Earlier this summer we were introduced briefly to the H20+ line of skincare products while staying at Hotel 10 in Montreal for Osheaga Music Festival. Their tiny samples left us hooked and wanting more, so we thought we take their Sea Salt line of skincare products for a test drive to share it with you dear reader.

Grounded in preserving and restoring oceans all over the world, the H20+ brand cultivates marine life and its benefits for skin. Utilizing everything the underwater environment has to offer from algae to seaweed, this brand concentrates its efforts to combine rich minerals and antioxidants into scientific formulas that work naturally on our skin.

Starting from the top, we got to test out the Sea Salt body wash that’s at once unexpected in scent and positively refreshing to use. We say unexpected because with sea salt, you’d think it would be well, salty, but the combination of minerals and vitamins that make up this blend lean more towards a marine like scent, with notes of crisp green tea.

After the summer festival season, there’s no doubt our skin could use a little revitalization, so we tried out their Sea Lotus scrub. Crisp and clean in scent, this micro scrub also starts with a sea salt base to exfoliate while water lotus and bamboo extracts are used to hydrate the skin to tone and balance. Blended with kelp, which is always a favourite scent note for us, as well as spirulina, wakame, and brown algae, the Sea Lotus Scrub is our new favourite product to keep your skin feeling super soft, even into the winter months!

And what regime would be complete without a good moisturizer. We loved trying the Sea Salt Hydrating Body Butter because it worked great as a daily moisturizer, especially after a shower; the milky texture wasn’t super thick as you’d expect from a Body Butter. It carries that same fresh yummy smell that the body wash has, but lasts much longer keeping your dry skin hydrated through the day with the help of shea butter and red marie algae.

These products range in price from $17 to $21 US and can be found online. We’re digging them, so get on checking this brand out!
