Grimes may be the least likely face of high fashion campaigns, but she takes the new Stella McCartney POP fragrance ad by storm. Joining It Girls Amandla Stenberg, Kenya Kinsinki-Jones, and Lola Leon (yes, that’s Lourdes – Madonna’s daughter!), the four hit the road in a baby pink swimming pool convertible through a serene desert-scape. The minute-long clip features Grimes’ own track “Venus Fly” from her critically acclaimed album Art Angels as they blow bubblegum and peddle their way through a pastel dream. They even managed to capture Lola paying homage to mom by Vogueing her way across the sand. With the fragrance notes listed for POP being tomato leaves, violet leaves, green mandarin, violet, tuberose, plumeria,sandalwood, cedarwood, and musks, this whole campaign screams Very Cool, and safe to say it’s unlike any other perfume we’ve ever smelled before.
