Gravity Pope Opens in Toronto

Last week we had the pleasure of getting a closer look inside Queen and Ossington’s latest high fashion edition, Gravity Pope, or shoe-heaven, as we’re calling it.

The Edmonton-based company has grown substantially since 1990 and earlier it finally  landed in our fair city along with their expertly curated collection of shoes, clothes and accessories for men and women. In the 4000 square foot space designed by Peter Turner, customers can browse the latest footwear collections from over a hundred designers including Jil Sander, Comme de Garcons, Repetto, See by Chloe, ACNE, Dries Van Noten, Church’s, and their in store brand Gravity Pope, across the three glorious floors accented by antique design elements imported from Buenos Aires.

We’ll admit we were a little overwhelmed by everything in the store at first, but quickly became enraptured by all the amazing pieces in cozy feeling space. We highly recommend you check it out next time you’re on Queen street and who knows, you might even find yourself a sweet sale! We couldn’t resist sharing nearly every photo we took at the launch event below, so enjoy getting lost in them below.
