Today Google unveiled their own-brand smartphone called the Nexus One. The Google phone was built in partnership with HTC, the company that had a touchscreen like the iPhone, before the phone was readily available. The Nexus One has a slim body, a touchscreen engineered to run Google’s powerful Android 2.1 Operating System, with a 3.7-inch display, a 1GHz Snapdragon chipset, GPS, accelerometer, a 5-megapixel camera with flash and all the Google apps you can handle.
Now that you read all the tech specs, you realize that this phone has potential to be better then an iPhone. For starters, the camera is eons better and with a flash, it has a GPS, and the guarantee of Google innovation. However, the iPhone has over a hundred-thousand applications and a built in iPod, which for music lovers is an essential must have. Overall the Nexus One will certainly give the iPhone a run for its money, but only time will tell if it can surpass Apple in sales.
The Phone is available now within the US.
