Washington dream pop outfit GEMS may only have five tracks but man are they ever churning out the hits lately, releasing a new track every couple of months now since this time last year when “Void Moon” first hit the waves.
Building towards their Medusa EP which drops early next month, the title track by the same name is a slow building track with a deeper beat than we’re used to from GEMS and we kind of fucking love it. Lindsay Pitts ethereal vocals are even more full of grace on this track and Clifford John Usher contrasts it at time with a modern call and answer line.
