We’re always excited to see what Gap has in store each season and since we’ve basically been living in our coloured denim we were thrilled to have a sneak peek at the fall winter 2012 collections.
Starting at the top, Old Navy, offered huge hits of fun colour and tons of prints with an emphasis on transitional pieces for fall and winter, while accessories like embroidered and jewelled cuffs and classic footwear with equestrian touches stood out from Banana Republic.
Once we made it to the Gap preview area we felt truly at home amongst all the vibrant corals, canary yellows, and fun prints. We couldn’t get over all the pretty must have shoes like the loafers which we saw in quite a few different designs, the suede desert boots, and the turquoise suede sandals. The clothing was uniquely Gap, with timeless pieces like a denim button down, coloured khakis, and the perfect grosgrain trimmed blazer, side by side with on trend pieces like a tropical printed bralette, yellow and navy tasselled loafers, and colour blocked sweaters, shirts and tote bags.
Can’t believe we’re saying this, but we’re actually looking forward to fall thanks to Gap! Take a peek at some photos from the preview below and stay tuned for the official lookbook.
